Pop superstar Rihanna and rapper A$AP Rocky have officially become parents of three after welcoming their first daughter, Rocki Irish Mayers, earlier this month. The couple, who already share sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2, announced the arrival of their baby girl on Instagram nearly two weeks after her birth on September 13 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Rihanna, 37, shared intimate photos to mark the occasion, including one of her cradling Rocki in a ruffled pink outfit with a bow, and another featuring tiny pink ballet slippers. In a sweet nod to both Rocky’s stage name and the iconic 1976 boxing film, she also posted a shot of pink baby boxing gloves. Her caption read simply: “Rocki Irish Mayers Sept 13 2025 ????.”
A$AP Rocky, 36, proudly chimed in with a heartfelt comment: “MY LIL LADIES,” celebrating both his partner and their newborn daughter. Sources close to the couple told PEOPLE that Rihanna is “over the moon” about finally having a girl, calling it “a whole new world for her.” The insider added that Rocki has already “brought a whole new energy to the family,” while Rocky has been saying he simply feels “lucky.”
The couple has been candid about their desire for a large family. Rihanna revealed in a 2024 Interview magazine cover story that having children with Rocky was “the best thing that ever happened to us” and that she wanted as many kids as “God wants me to have.” During her July pregnancy update with Extra, she admitted she had “always wanted a girl” but was equally grateful for her sons, saying, “God knows best, right? And I love my boys.”
Their daughter’s arrival comes just four months after Rihanna revealed her pregnancy at the 2025 Met Gala, where she debuted her baby bump in a custom Marc Jacobs suit. Since then, Rocky has joked about expanding their family even more, comparing themselves to the Wayans family.
Now a family of five, Rihanna and Rocky are settling into their $13.8 million Beverly Hills mansion, a 7,700-square-foot estate featuring five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a sunken pool, and a private cabana. For now, the couple is keeping things intimate, hosting only family and a few close friends as they embrace their newest chapter of parenthood.
