If you thought this summer couldn’t get any hotter, Yeat just turned up the heat.

With no warning, no rollout, and no deluxe in sight, Yeat took to IG to announce his surprise EP titled DANGEROUS SUMMER, set to drop this Friday, August 1. That’s right — in classic Yeat fashion, the wave is coming unannounced and full-force, straight to your playlists.

The project follows his recent drop “I’M YEAT” with BNYX just 10 days ago and comes on the heels of his unexpected on-stage moment at Drake’s Wireless Festival set, where he performed “IDGAF” live for the first time. Yeah, Yeat’s been outside — and now he’s bringing even more to the table.

While the tracklist is still under wraps, the visual rollout is far from lowkey. The cover art? Shot by none other than Harmony Korine (yes, the visionary behind Spring Breakers), and designed by the experimental team at EDGLRD. The artwork gives off that hazy, chaotic energy you’d expect from a Yeat-Korine link-up — raw, cinematic, and totally unpredictable.

Yeat kept it simple in his caption:

“NEW EP. NO ROLL OUT. NO DELUXË.”

No gimmicks. Just straight to the music.

If you’re pulling up to Rolling Loud or streaming the festival from your phone, you already know this drop is about to be in rotation all weekend. Whether you’re catching sets or cooling off backstage, DANGEROUS SUMMER is sounding like the new soundtrack to your August.
